A Clarity Chapter Closes….
It's with a heavy, though hopeful, heart that I share the news of a Clarity chapter closing.
Due to a myriad of significant and unavoidable factors (both personal + business); at the end of our lease, after a great many beautiful years here on Melbourne Street:
The last day of Clarity operations at 58-60 Melb St will be on Friday Sept 19th.
After which point, Clarity will be taking a little hiatus.
Clarity has been an award-winning and cherished haven of solace, comfort and growth for a great many people over a great many years, and it has been my absolute privilege to have stewarded this beautiful ship - ably supported by an incredible team. We’re so thankful for all of your support, and for the support of the many iterations of the #clarityfamily over the years.
As you can imagine, coming to this decision has been incredibly difficult and not without due reason (the primary one being the health of my son). In the wise words of Victor Frankl "Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom".
There's no doubt that this is a very difficult end to a long and beautiful chapter in Clarity's story; but it is not the end of the story.….the right place has not yet made itself available yet, but I have faith that it will, when the time is right!
At this point in the Clarity story, some space is needed, for new roots to take form and a ‘moment of clarity’ to emerge 💛
….fear not, there IS also some good news!
Your ongoing care is still our top priority, and following our closure here, we’re thrilled to share that there are a number of Clarity therapists who will be continuing treating on Melbourne Street, in a fresh new space! Find out more below.

Your continuity of care still remains of utmost importance to us, and we are thrilled to advise that the familiar and highly-sought after treatments of Clarity therapists Jura, Amy, Steph and Rob will still continue on Melbourne Street, just a few doors down the road at #78, within The Bodyworx, under the name of Jura’s new business “Remedy & Reap”.
In support of R&R's success, and with sincere want for the ongoing care of You, our cherished clients, we warmly encourage all regular Clarity clients to seek out ongoing care with them, which you can do so here.
Whilst the new location may not be precisely "the same" as the Clarity environment you've become familiar with, this change offers a beautiful fresh new energy (perfect spring timing!), alongside familiar care through the warm hands of known therapists; which we think bodes well for a positive future for all.

What of the other Clarity Crew?
Naomi (aka Gnomie) has taken up a full-time gig at ECH aged care, where she’ll be applying her magic touch to our wise-ones. Letizia can be found at The Bodyworx. Katie is currently on Mat Leave with her 3rd divine baby boy, Dougie. At this point and looking into the future, that is naturally where her energy is firmly focused.
Your much-loved face-at-the-desk (and my OG right-hand-woman!) Julia can still be found teaching Pilates via her business, Sol Space Pilates & Movement. If you don’t already, do your body & mind a favour and get moving - & continue sharing tales and laughs - with her! (Bonus: she comes to you!)
For me, Sare, I’ll be consolidating into a small private bodywork practice with my regular clients and focusing on Hugo’s next procedures, until such time as new roots take form for Clarity.
So, here we are…
As many of you know, Clarity is my "first baby" and, after nearly 15 years on Melbourne Street, this has been an incredibly difficult decision to come to. At this point, my real-life child requires my focus and care as we navigate a tricky chapter of health and required procedures (which has ultimately been the instigator of my reduced capacity to manage the business at this site + to this scale).
With all that said, it’s not entirely a story of woe, and I feel immense joy looking back on the many years that Clarity has been an incredible space and place of community, connection and care. It has been the conduit to many lifelong relationships formed.
I established Clarity with a deep want to create a genuinely person-centred space of inclusive, welcoming, whole-hearted care for everyone who entered (clients and teammates alike), and I feel great joy in knowing that the legacy of what Clarity has always stood for - comfort, individual attention, exemplary care - will continue close-by until such time as our new space is developed.
Whilst this is the closing of a chapter; it is not the end of the Clarity story. After a period of much-needed hiatus (& time to concentrate on Hugo + my health) my intention is to map out a future plan for a smaller, cosier space, from a more steady, balanced place of 'clarity' next year, when the right location reveals itself (ie. practicing what I preach!)
I am infinitely grateful for the incredible dedication and work of the wonderful #clarityfamily, in all its iterations over many years. It's been a privilege to employ and work alongside such a diverse range of wonderful human beings and bear witness to their growth and development in that time. I'm thrilled that the Clarity crew have soft places to land and continue their crafts, and that there are ongoing opportunities for you, our clients, to continue getting amazing care here on Melbourne Street - this has been my utmost priority in coming to this point.
I really want to thank you for your ongoing support of Clarity, it has been an immense privilege and means so very much.
